According to the new reports, the MNIK movie will be releasing in January 2010.

As per karan Johar, this is a collective decision taken by Shahrukh & Karan due to several reasons.

Well now we will have to wait a little more to see ” Mr. Khan ” in action.

This means that Srk would not have any major release in the current year – 2009 and his only release this year would be “Dulha Mil Gaya” which has him in an extended special appearance.

Bad News guys but we can definitely wait to see the darling duo together after a long hiatus !!

Well I liked both the posters especially the second one. Shahrukh’s hairstyle is looking quite neat in second.

Srk (Rizwan Khan) is arrested as a suspected terrorist by police during post-9/11 in LA(California) after authorities mistake his disability for suspicious behaviour.

Shahrukh said “We are good thinking people and sensitive enough.” 

“When you say our film revolves around Islam, no. We have been very careful in not showing bias towards any community or anyone. We had experts on Islam or, for that matter, on Asperger, and that is why it took long to make this film.”

Karan Johar added. “When I was walking in San Fransico, five people came up to me and asked me if there was a song like Sooraj Hua Madham. I said no and they got disappointed. Of course, the film is a love story but the treatment is not what you saw in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge or Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. There are no love songs in Egypt or Switzerland but there is a wonderful love story between Rizwan and Mandira.”

Srk n Karan Johar While Shooting MNIK Movie in US

It is reported that the Budget of MNIK Movie is around 50 Crores.

As per Trade Analyst, Komal Nahata, “It will be a very big deal for Fox. It catapults them to the big league. It can’t get bigger than KJo, SRK in Bollywood.”

Such a big buyout especially when many producers have failed to seal deals will certainly raise eyebrows and reiterate King Khan’s saleability factor in the box office.

Aamir Khan’s Ghajini was sold for Rs. 90 Crores in the past followed by OSO & Singh is King.

But experts say with SRK’s global popularity, My Name is Khan will be one of the highest grossers for the overseas Box Office.

SRK & Kajol - Ultimate Couple

Shahrukh Khan and Kajol have completed the first schedule of “My Name is Khan” in Los Angeles and have come back from US now.

The two stars shot with karan Johar in Los Angeles for 3 weeks. It is reported that they will shoot the next schedule in Mumbai from March to May. After that they will return to the US to finish the film’s shooting in the final schedule in June.

Kajol has always made special appearances in previous SRK movies like Kal Ho Na Ho , Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna , Om Shanti Om and the recent SuperHit Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi .SRK and Kajol are one of the most sought-after onscreen couples in Bollywood. The last movie in which the couple featured together was Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
